After Siena, we took a scenic route to a wine farm (fattoria) where we had a delicious organic lunch with everything produced from this farm (except the cheese). We were also treated to 4 different wines: 1 white, 2 reds (one was Chianti, most popular from this region), and a sweet dessert wine. My favorite part was dipping the almond biscotti into the dessert wine!
The biggest treat of all was seeing a panoramic view of a Tucany vineyard. The pictures don't do it justice.
Funny story: the older Australian gentleman sitting across from me was getting hammered! His wife kept telling him to stop drinking but he said, "Wine in Australian can only legally have 5 percent alcohol, so I'm going to enjoy this strong wine while I can!" Hahahaha
