Woman selling disguises at the Summer Palace

Because Beijingers are obligated to retire at the age of 50, the only over 50 workers you see are the ones from out of town selling touristy trinkets. This woman was one of the younger ones I saw. There was one woman who was definitely not a day younger than 80.

Headless at the Summer Palace

Summer Place was a place for the emperor to spend his summers. Palace workers used to steal these buddha heads and sell them for a large profit.
