Gelato at Giolitti!

Close to the Pantheon is a famous gelato place called Giolitti. They have over 100 flavors and you have to negotiate your way to be served, and yell your order. It's like that scene in "Eat Pray Love" (though I did not like the movie). The flavors weren't in English so I went with a safe choice of Tiramisu and a shot-in-the-dark choice which ended up being almond. It was the perfecto combo.
However, the gelato itself was not any better or worse than the others I've had.

Pantheon

Luckily I found my way to the Pantheon and what a great find it was. It is considered the best-preserved ancient building in Rome. The dome shape with the natural light at the top provided a dramatic atmosphere inside.
